The Best All Around Bike Light?

The HA-III SSC P7-C (SXO) 3-Mode 900-Lumen LED   Bike Light Set is a must have for every serious bicycle rider. Excellent for safety if you are going to be riding at night on the road the light is so bright cars and trucks think you are a motorcycle so you don’t have to worry about them not seeing you. The front glass being fully transparent so there is no diffused effect. This is excellent for transparency, however if a rock should hit it the right way it could crack. On the other hand if it were made of plastic you would not have the fantastic clarity.

 

A lot of true white light, not like those cheap blueish/purpleish LED lamps…. When tilted down the light starts off right in front of your tire and goes for a good 70 foot. It will go way further than that if you tilt it up, but then you may blind on-coming traffic. Expect most street signals shining up much further than 100mts/300ft ahead, drivers slowing down believing you’re a motorbike, and most other riders will hate you, as their LED headlamps and halogen bulbs would look like candles(:

 

Due to the fact the HA-III SSC P7-C (SXO) 3-Mode 900-Lumen LED Bike Light Set uses a cree board for current regulation, the light level remains the same regardless of the battery charge. The colored LED on the back of the lamp, would turn green, blue or orange, to indicate the charge level, which is very valuable to let you know when you want to turn back home.

 

With such a strong light overheating is a factor. Not to worry, with its cooling system being the natural ventilation from the ride it keeps cool just fine, just be cautious not to use dormant for more than 5-10 minutes.
